Studied physics and climatology at University of Bologna in Italy, and received doctoral degree at Princeton University for climatology and marine science through scholarship from the NASA Earth System Science Program. Used to work at MIT as researcher, then a partner at McKinsey & Company, and CSO at the Nature Conservancy which is the largest environmental organization in the world. Along with writing in the press with environmental-related themes, he has been professional contributor at the World Economic Forum.
