Written by Giulio Boccaletti, who is a globally recognized expert in the natural resources security and environmental sustainability fields, Water: Chronicles of Water is chronicle of water and human society. Through comprehensive insight in the environment, human society and history, this book shows how distribution of water created human civilization. Water, the key of climate system, has now become a threat to survival of humanity. If we do not pay nationwide interests, water that used to give us abundance through history will lead us to collapse. Just like the property itself, water provided both abundance and destruction throughout the history of human civilization. By presenting how water distribution and supply affected creation of human civilization, Water: Chronicles of Water has become a special masterpiece in the climate crisis era with its insight in history of human civilization related to water.
